2010 RACER INFORMATION
“Vintage Racers”
Friday the 29th the Gates open at 8:00AM. All Racers
will stop at the Dolan Gate [Gate #1, same gate as last year]. All vehicles
entering must be transporting a race sled! At the gate each person in the
vehicle will be required to purchase a Saturday admission ticket which allows
entry into the infield and admission for Saturday. It is your option to
upgrade to a weekend admission ticket @ $20.00 each if you plan to attend the
event on Sunday also.
Once parked in the infield report to the Warming Hut. Then
report to station #1
STATION #1
1] Show I.D.
2] Provide proof of age.
3] Sign waivers.
4] Show proof of membership to the NNYVSSR, EPT, SCM or PRO.
A] NNYVSSR Memberships will be
available @ $30 annually/$20 weekend.
5] Receive Left-hand Stamp. [You cannot proceed without this stamp.]
STATION #2
1] Display Stamped hand.
2] You may purchase a TEST+TUNE wrist band @ $20.00 fee which must be attached
to the Right-hand wrist [American Flag] good for Friday’s TEST+TUNE only! A
TEST+TUNE RACER can test multiple sleds at no additional fee.
**IF YOU ARE RACING SATURDAY
PROCEED TO STATION #3.**
STATION #3
1] Register and pay for classes entered.
2] Display stamped hand and Registration to receive a RACER wristband which
must be attached to the right-hand wrist [Red]. Racer wrist band is only Valid
for Saturday Racing and NOT valid for the TEST+TUNE session!
3] Once recognized as a RACER [RACER WRIST BAND], you will receive 1 RACER
PACKAGE which includes:
A] 1 vehicle Infield Parking Pass [Orange-Saturday only]
B] Waivers (You are eligible for 2 Hot Pit Wrist Bands. Entrants
must complete Waivers.)
C] 2 Paddock Passes
4] Purchase additional admission tickets.
To speed up infield entry Saturday morning, please purchase
the number of admission tickets for the number of people in the vehicle
entering the infield on Saturday. A maximum of 5 people per vehicle will be
allowed!
YOU MUST be registered as a Racer to receive the
Racer Package!
TEST+TUNE registrants do not qualify for the RACER PACKAGE! You may TEST+TUNE
Friday afternoon and register Friday evening at the Hulbert House between
6:00pm-9:00pm.
POINTS OF INTEREST
1] We will open the infield gate Friday [gate #2] midsession during the
TEST+TUNE to allow Vehicles to enter and exit the infield.
2] As a Vintage Racer you are eligible to race with the Pro group on Sunday.
Please make sure you register with the Pro group Saturday in the Kiwanis
building. If racing with the Pro’s on Sunday you will be required to park
with them on Sunday. Your NNYVSSR membership will honored if racing with the
Pro’s
3] Crossing the track will be in the same location as last year [Gate #4].
Crossing will be discretionary but not longer than 5 heats!
4] To cross the track you are required to possess an admission ticket and 1 of
the following: Racer Wrist Band, Hot Pit Wrist Bands, or Paddock Pass.
5] Paddock Passes are available for sale at the main ticket booth for $10.00.
The main ticket booth is the only location where a Paddock Pass can be
purchased.
6] Sponsors with stamped VIP admission tickets are allowed crossing of the
track.
7] Limited food and drink will be available in the Warming Hut on Saturday.
ALL VINTAGE RACERS MUST BE REGISTERED PRIOR TO
SATURDAY’S EVENT! YOU MAY REGISTER DURING THE DAY 8:00AM-4:00PM AT THE
INFIELD WARMING HUT OR FRIDAY EVENING IN THE TOWN SQUARE AT THE HULBERT HOUSE
FROM 6:00-9:00pm. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Vintage Racers requirements necessary to Enter
Infield Saturday morning:
1] Hanging vehicle pass
2] 1 admission ticket per individual in the vehicle
3] 1 of the following: Racer Wrist Band, Hot Pit Wrist Band or Paddock Pass
4] Maximum of 5 individuals per entering vehicle.
